One of the things that surprised us most during our first winter here was the moss that grows across this land: abundant, deep and almost fluorescent. When the oaks and chestnut trees lose their leaves, it appears everywhere, covering stones, trunks and walls, transforming the forest into a landscape of greens, textures and shapes that fascinates us.
 
Since then, we have been trying to get closer to that feeling through ceramics. Looking more closely at what we find in the forest and searching for ways to bring those irregular surfaces, subtle variations and the beauty that appears when nature grows without needing to be perfect into our pieces.
 
This new vase is part of a series inspired by the textures and colours of this landscape. Its glaze, developed in our studio, creates a surface full of variations and delicate textures reminiscent of moss growing over stone, as if the winter forest had left its mark on the ceramic.
 
A vase designed to keep evoking, even indoors, the landscape that inspires us so deeply.
