At the intersection between the tactile density of ceramics and the subtle
fragility of shoji paper, Ibasho was born.

Our first ceramic and shoji paper lamp.

The shoji paper acts as a surface that filters the light with an enveloping delicacy that only natural plant fibers can provide.
Ibasho is not designed to see more, but to feel better, much like how the fire in a fireplace doesn't just warm the air, but gathers the entire room around it. Turning it on is like lighting up the home: light ceases to be a merely visual phenomenon and becomes an atmosphere that seems to embrace you, transforming any space into a true refuge.
