Osu is an ocarina that is part of a collection we have been developing for years, inspired by the animals currently living in Spain. Osu represents the brown bear (Ursus arctos), one of the most iconic animals of Iberian wildlife.
Today, this piece takes on an even deeper meaning: our new workshop is located within a biosphere reserve, in an environment where the brown bear lives in the wild. Here, more than ever, these pieces are a direct reflection of the life that surrounds us.
The brown bear population in Spain has experienced a remarkable recovery in recent decades thanks to conservation efforts, reaching a total of approximately 450 bears across the country.
We will continue creating more bear ocarinas, because living alongside this landscape and its animals reminds us every day of the importance of honoring their presence.

Osu
We have made Osu in orange-beige stoneware and applied a glaze made by us that leaves small white brush-like strokes; it measures 13 cm in length and 8 cm in diameter.
