Raposu is an ocarina that is part of a collection we have been developing for years, inspired by the animals currently living in Spain. Raposu represents the red fox (Vulpes vulpes), one of the most widespread and adaptable mammals in Iberian wildlife.
The fox plays a fundamental ecological role as a natural regulator of ecosystems. It helps control populations of small rodents and insects, and also feeds on carrion and organic matter, contributing to the silent balance of its environment. Its presence helps stabilize natural interactions between species, occupying a key place within the food chain.
Over time, the fox has also held a special place in popular tradition, associated with cunning, intelligence, and a deep connection with wild nature.
We will continue creating more fox ocarinas and more pieces that honor the animals of Spain, because each one of them is an essential part of the landscape we inhabit and observe every day.
