Xabalín is a whistle. collection inspired by the non-human nature inhabiting the Iberian Peninsula. This piece pays tribute to the wild boar (Sus scrofa), one of the most iconic, adaptable, and widespread large mammals in our fauna.

Present throughout the peninsular geography, its sense of smell is so extraordinary that it can detect roots and fungi more than a meter underground; as it digs, it aerates the soil and disperses seeds, acting as a true engineer of the forest ecosystem. Standing out among its traits are its lower tusks: continuously growing tusks that self-sharpen by rubbing against the upper ones, providing males with a formidable defense.

Its social structure reflects this same sophistication: females lead matriarchal sounders, passing down the wisdom of the territory from generation to generation, while large males lead a solitary, wandering life.

This primal force already captivated ancient cultures. For the Celts, the wild boar was a sacred animal consecrated to the god Moccus: a symbol of indomitable courage, fertility, and a deep connection to the earth.
