todai is a ceramic lantern specially designed for outdoor dinners, where the wind might blow out the candles lighting the table. Its bowl-like shape is crafted to protect the flame, allowing for a warm and steady light even outside. Additionally, its design makes it easy to hold by hand and place on any surface. Although it is intended for outdoor use, it can also be used indoors.

The height of this candle holder is 6 cm and its diameter is 9.5 cm. We created this piece in stoneware and applied one of our custom-made glazes, which gives it a textured, brush-stroked finish in a greyish-black tone both inside and out.
